We started out Thanksgiving out at my sister-in-law, Liane's house with Keith's family as well as Liane's husband's family. The food was good and the kids had so much fun playing, as usual.
Thanksgiving part two was back at our house with my family. When we left to go to Liane's, my mom, Aunt Teri, and grandma arrived to start the turkey. How nice of them, right! They started cooking the feast while I was gone. God love them! Our Thanksgiving was delicious too! Not to mention grandma made two of her famous chocolate/peanut butter pies ... my favorite ... YUM! It was nice to spend time with both our families and reflect on all we have to be thankful for.

Mmm Mmm Mexican!
Tonight the girls and I went to El Vaquero for dinner to celebrate Karen's birthday! We enjoyed some MUCH needed girl time and of course yummy mexican food. It was so nice to enjoy some time with my girlfriends! With all of our busy lives and kids we don't get to hang out too often, but we always make a point to when a birthday rolls around. Happy Birthday Karen! You are such a great friend and coworker, I love you!

Happy Birthday Mom!
I would like to wish my Mommy a VERY Happy Birthday today! She is the most unselfish, giving, loving woman. She is a beautiful person and I aspire to be a mother to my boys as she was to my brother and me. Happy Birthday Mom, WE LOVE YOU!

"Momma"
Over the weekend and throughout this week Mason has started calling me "Momma." I don't know where it came from but it is very cute. I'm not sure how I feel about being called Momma? I prefer Mommy, but like I said ... he sounds so cute saying "Momma." Oh how I love that little boy!

Trick or Treat!
Our Halloween festivities started on Thursday night with Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood. My mom and Aunt Teri came over to Trick-or-Treat with us since Keith was at work. Mason had so much fun and was wore out at the end!
On Saturday evening we all went over to my parent's house for MORE Trick-orTreating! Mom made a big pot of vegetable soup. So we all ate and then headed out. Braden fell asleep right before we left, so he stayed back with Grandma & Grandpa Wilson to pass out candy. It worked out because it was a little too cold for him anyway and Grandma & Grandpa got to spend some quality time with Braden by himself without the other two hounding Grandma!
Mason, love, love, loved Halloween! He was intrigued by the scariest houses and just stared at all the decorations. We had so much fun Halloweening on Saturday with Chad, Colton, Aunt Tee Tee, my cousin Allan, Heather, Tyler, and Gage.
More Trick or Treating!

Patient Appreciation Picnic
Sunday I had to work our annual patient appreciation picnic at Highbanks Park. The whole family came; Braden hung out with me at my station and Keith and Mason got to enjoy the festivities. Mason got to make a Buckeye necklace, decorate sunglasses, decorate a pumpkin, jump in the inflatable bounce house, see zoo animals, see a firetruck, take pictures in a photo booth (which was hilarious), play on the playground, and just have an awesome day. At the end of the day Mason came up to me and said, "Mommy, I had sooo much fun today!" It was sweet.

Pumpkin Patch
Last Saturday Keith and I took the kids to Smith's Farm for their "Fall Jamboree." We had a great time! It was a beautiful day to be outside. Mason enjoyed the petting zoo, corn maze, and picking pumpkins for him and Braden! We ended our day at the Farm Market where we all enjoyed a donut and an apple cider slushie. Oh yes, you heard right ... apple cider slushie! It was sooo yummy!

Braden Is TWO Months Old
Today my little Braden turned Two months old! We celebrated by going to the doctor and getting shots ... and they weren't the good kind!
We have a funny story about the doctor visit today too. After the appointment I was going to drop Braden off at home and head to the grocery store. I didn't want to drag the diaper bag to the store and we weren't going to be at the doctor that long, so I just took my purse. Do you see where this is going? We are sitting in the waiting room and I hear SPLAT! Oh boy. Well, I know the office has diapers, so no biggie, I'll change him when we go back. We are now in the room and the nurse tells me to undress him down to his diaper. I slide his jeans off and there is poop running down his leg. Again, Oh boy. The poop is everywhere! Down his leg, in his sock, up his back, all over his shirt, and jeans. A major blowout has occurred and this baby was going to end up going home naked! Luckily one of the nurses was so kind to give him a onesie to wear home. She had a basket of clothes in her car to take to "Once Upon A Child." Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! At least he didn't have to go home naked, it was cool outside! And the whole time Braden just smiled and laughed (this was prior to the shots.) I guess that will teach me not to bring a diaper bag!
Here are Braden's TWO month stats:
Height 23 3/4 inches (75%)
Weight 11 pounds 9 ounces (45%)
He's doing great!
